A new children’s hub involving Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and Middlesbrough Council First Contact and Early Help Teams will launch next month.
South Tees Multi-Agency Children’s Hub (MACH) will provide a single point of contact across the whole of the South Tees area for anyone seeking advice, guidance, support and direct services.
The MACH will be based at Daisy Lane, Overfields, Redcar and will go live on Monday June 3. It will include NHS South Tees Clinical Commissioning Group as a partner alongside Cleveland Police, NHS Tees Esk and Wear Valleys Foundation Trust, NHS South Tees Foundation Trust and Harrogate District Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The hub will ensure children and families receive the right services, at the right level, at the right time. Opening hours will be Monday to Thursday from 8.30am-5pm and Friday 8.30am-4.30pm.
There will be a number of other Local Authority staff located in the Hub including Education Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) and staff covering domestic abuse, children and young people who go missing and early help.
