Mental health services

We can talkMental health services is one of our key priorities – so much so, we have created a new dedicated website for patients to self refer.

The website contains all relevant and up-to-date information, including lists of mental health providers and information on problems we can help with, treatments we offer and phone numbers for direct access to help.

The website highlights benefits of ‘talking therapies’. Talking therapies are an effective way of helping people with emotional and mental health problems like depression, anxiety and stress.

You can visit our new WE CAN TALK website now for information on mental health services in the South Tees area.

If you want to talk to someone right away call  01642 263121 and you will be given details of the organisations that can best offer you support.

Mental Health Crisis Care Concordat

We’re also part of a Crisis Care Concordat Task Group across Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland.

The Mental Health Crisis Care Concordat is a national agreement between services and agencies involved in the care and support of people in crisis. It sets out how organisations will work together better to make sure that people get the help they need when they’re having a mental health crisis.

The group’s aim is to deliver real positive change for people experiencing mental health crisis and ensure the right services exist to facilitate that.

Our Declaration and Action Plan are centrally held on the national Crisis Care Concordat website.
